Why did you choose this?

very modern look to the watch that makes it very appealing.

I have read excellent reviews. I wanted a nice, usable watch that was and is offline!

Great colourway and a comfortable watch to wear.

It had a classic digital watch style with brand heritage and was not a Casio. Muted colour was interesting and versatile.

Can the alarm be set as silent or do you have to silence it once it sounds?

You can set it as silent. If you don't, the alarm will ring and you will need to press any button to mute it.

Can you push the buttons on the watch while submerged in water? (Without risking water damage).

The verbiage in the manual below * indicating that you should not activate pushers under water is a legacy thing that’s in all manuals. It’s common advice in the watch industry. The Regulus pushers were designed to exceed these typical standards and can be used in the water.Regardless, warranty will not be voided if you press the Regulus pushers under water. https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0541/0272/0705/files/nixon_regulus_manual.pdf?v=1634162875

Are the up down arrows indicators with times a high and low tide setting?

This model doesn't have a tide setting, the arrows are indicators for the double chrono function.

What are the Pre set countdown timers. I need one with 17:30 minutes ?

Had the same nagging issue.
Until I discovered, I could set the Countdown Timer to whatever time I wanted.
I discovered this on my own, passed almost a year, but it's all in the manual... I guess it pays to read it... :-) :-) :-) :-)

can you format date in the day/month (uk) style or is it in month/day (us) style or can you toggle between the two?

Hi,

The format date is the US one (mm/dd) and can not be changed to the UK (dd/mm) one

Thank you!

Does it have a stop watch?
