Nixon Men's Analog Watch FAQs

What is an analog watch?

Analog watches, sometimes called “classic watches”, use an hour and a minute hand to tell time. These hands are in continuous motion around the watch face, pointing to numbers arranged around the dial that indicate the time. If it has hands and it ticks, it’s an analog watch.

Are Nixon analog watches waterproof?

Most Nixon analog watches for men have some level of water resistance. Each watch will have its own ATM (stands for “atmospheres”) rating that lets you know just how wet you can get your analog watch before you risk damage to it.

How do you set the time of a men’s analog watch from Nixon?

Setting the time of a Nixon analog watch is super easy. Making adjustments to the time of your watch will require you to pull the crown all the way out. For watches with watch complications like a day/date window, you will pull the crown out to the second position to change the time (the first position is how you change the day and/or date). From there, just twist the crown until the time is correct and then push it back in.
